The floral waters La Vie Claire are obtained by slow distillation of flowers, leaves, seeds, bark and rhizomes of aromatic plants. The water vapor passes through the plants in the distiller and is charged with hydrophilic and hydrophobic principles. After condensation, the distillate collected consists of two distinct liquid phases, which are separated in the essencier by difference in density: essential oil on the one hand, and floral water on the other, also called hydrolat. The floral water is in fact a water loaded with microparticle of essential oil and odorant principles, mainly water-soluble.
